How to Make a Floating Illusion Necklace - Jewelry-making Tutorial
This style of necklace is one of my absolute favorites. Crimp beads are used as "stoppers" so the floating beads will stay in place. Materials list: - Beading board (if you do not have one of these then a ruler would be sufficient) - Beading wire (I used Accu-flex .019" size) - Crimp beads (I used twenty-four 1.5mm round) - Crimp covers (I used 3mm) - Some beads (I used eleven 8mm beads) - Clasp (I used a barrel clasp) - Wire cutters - Crimping pliers (or flat-nose pliers) Sources for materials: Beading wire, crimp beads, crimp covers, and beads are from http://www.firemountain.com.
