How to spot a fake EBay IPod Nano from RJRocket in Hillborough, NJ **2 Update - Money Refunded**

**Latest Update**
I received a full refund from PayPal, including the cost of shipping. So with using the free $5 from stamps.com, I ended up not losing anything.
I did find out that RJRockets Shuffles were fake too. I did everything I could to alert other buyers who left feedback that theirs were fake and all of them have received refunds at this point, except for one of the shuffle victims who feels the price to ship it back with tracking wasn't worth it. What I didn't like was that most people I contacted said RJRocket wouldn't refund until they left positive feedback. That's wrong.
RJRocket himself is selling the crap IPod clones on EBay as crap MP3 players now. I dont know if EBay or PayPal have contacted the others who havent left feedback, but I hope they did. This close to XMas, giving something like this and then finding out its fake just makes your holiday suck. Either RJRocket doesnt care or he really is in huge financial trouble. He probaly still doesn't realize what he did was illegal in so many ways.
My daughters IPod from Amazon should be here in a few days.
Final note: Even if the item is a fake and laws are broken EBay, PayPal and even the credit card company will tell you to ship the item back to the seller. After a few days, I finally recieved a confirmation from IC3, the internet police, that they recieved my complaint, but then nothing else. I don't think Hillsborough police check their email. At least I have my money back,
**Update**
I'm reluctantly sending the IPod back for a refund, but I'm doing it through PayPal with a tracking number. I recieved a CD from stamps.com with $5 in free postage, so it didn't cost me anything to ship it back.
I did do some research into the seller. Older guy who sells businesses in NJ. With the economy, his business is probably shot right now. He had a nice house, but he is trying to sell it. Is he a scammer? Probably not 100%. He probably got scammed with the IPods and didn't realize it, but he's doing nothing to contact all the buyers. I have contacted the other winners who left feedback on EBay and they all confirmed they are fake. One poor lady had it wrapped for XMas. That would have been a huge XMas dissapointment. The ones who already received a refund said he refused to refund the money until positive feedback was posted, but money was refunded. I'll wait and see what I get.
Oh yeah, Hillborough police are online and I did email them about this since he sold 20 of them. I found that the seller is a known golfer in his local community, so hopefully an officer who golfs and/or knows him will pull him aside and let him know what he did is illegal and he should contact all his buyers and offer them refunds.
Also, he is selling fake shuffles now, but you can tell they are fake. He does have them listed as IPods in one section. I'm going to report that.

Nov 26th, 2008. I buy an IPod Nano from RJRocket on Ebay, item number 250332127377 to be exact. This video shows the fake piece of c**p I got. A plastic wanna be with a custom OS that does play music (not through ITunes), but that's about it. There is a lesson to be learned here as I have contacted other winners of this wonderful IPod wanna be as rjrocket has sold 20 of. When you win something on EBay, plug it in before you leave feedback. Don't just look at it and wrap it up for XMas. If you don't know how a real IPod works, ask someone who does to check it out for you. rjrocket, AKA Robert D from Hillborough, NJ., I don't care how good your feedback is, you ripped me off. All I want is my money back so I can buy a proper IPod.
